A demonstration turns violent when squatters are evicted from their homes, while Mel and Penny play Cupid to a cantankerous old man and his worried neighbour.
Patrick spends the day in the ambulance with Josh and Finlay, and makes surprising discoveries about himself.
Chloe finds herself short of cash and is subsequently labelled prime suspect when a patient discovers her purse has gone missing.
Remembrance Day proves eventful in Holby A&E, as Finlay deals with a patient who would prefer to forget the past, and Duffy does not need reminding it is her 40th birthday.
Duffy is less than impressed when her doctor husband makes a dramatic entrance on his first day at the hospital.
Schoolchildren bring in their cuddly toys for a taste of hospital life, although Holly's enthusiasm is not shared by her colleagues.
Barney is aghast to learn health assistant Spencer knows about his alcoholic father, and wastes no time in accusing Chloe of telling tales, while Duffy may be pregnant again.
Andrew's surprised by Duffy's absence from work, unaware she's pregnant and has morning sickness. An emergency forces two estranged sisters to reconcile their differences.
Duffy tells Andrew she's pregnant, and a lonely widower clashes with his neighbour over a large wooden Santa, while Charlie worries about Barney's temper.
Patrick and Holly are stranded in the depths of the countryside during a heavy snowfall, and news of Duffy's pregnancy begins to spread around the department.
Max goes too far in his treatment of a drug addict, while Barney and Spencer are forced to put aside their differences long enough to rescue a patient from danger.
An angry mother refuses to be pacified and directs her fury at Max. Charlie embarks on a course of action in a bid to win back his son.
All the latest from the sharp end in the emergency department. Andrew tries to placate an irate Duffy, while Barney treats a Spice Girls lookalike band. Zig-a-zig-ah!
