The series follows Daniella Hernandez, a highly sought-after entertainment lawyer in Los Angeles, as she navigates the nefarious lives of her rich and famous clients while dealing with her own complicated personal life as a recovering alcoholic who compensates for her suppressed addiction with men and the adrenaline of defending the worst in the entertainment world against an over-zealous D.A. sworn to bring them all to justice. She is the classic conundrum of doing good for bad reasons and doing bad for good reasons.
Still reeling from the Jameson club fire, Daniella has to keep it together or risk losing everything she fought so hard for.
After the attempt on her life, Daniella struggles with her addiction, the new lawsuit, and the constant demands of celebrity clientele.
Grieving the death of her grandfather and with her back against the wall financially, Daniella takes on a seedy prosperity preacher client.
Daniella struggles coming up with funds to pay the insurance claim. Dom tries to get his flow back. Miguel embarks on a hunt for the killer.
When Daniella and Miguel are abducted, her loved ones resort to breaking the law to bring them home.
