Her revolution will be televised
A young woman from Blackpool finds her voice in the male dominated world of the 1960s comedy, and in doing so takes London by storm.
Sophie is the nation's favourite TV comedy star, has a group of good friends and her romance with Dennis is full of promise. But trouble is just round the corner.
Sophie's got the gang back together, but it's not the same. Bill is distracted writing his novel, Tony is not thrilled with shouldering the sitcom workload and it's all super awkward with Dennis following his divorce bombshell.
Sophie returns to rehearsals with the boys amidst media gossip about a romance with her French co-star. A night out to blow off some steam results in a chance meeting that helps reinvigorate their ideas for the new show.
Sophie Straw is at the top of the comedy tree - but can she stay there?
