Wow, what a show we have for you tonight. Joining Alan, straight from the studio recording a new album with her band Killing Heidi, is the hugely talented Ella Hooper. Next to her is an Australian comedy legend, the man behind Aunty Jack, Graham Bond. The sensational Myf has Nova Brisbane breakfast host Meshel Laurie on her team and a man who wore the tightest pants in 70s Australian music, Les Gock from glam rockers Hush.
The girl who is still talking, the very talented Kate Ceberano, Comedian and closet Kate Ceberano fan, Michael Chamberlain The reddest of all Wiggles, Murray Cook And former monobrow-sporting US comedian Arj Barker You'll find out Whitney Houston and Elton John's nicknames, Kate Ceberano will show us why you can't do Lulu in half-measures and we close with an hilarious piece of Australian television history. Not to give anything away but it involves a drum solo by one of this countries greatest stars.
An on-fire Ella Hooper, An hilarious Rich Hall, A still good for his age Darryl Cotton, And a good if he was Darryl’s age, Dave O’Neil. You’ll see some extremely creepy album covers. Find out the secret to writing country music. And discover what George Forman thought about while he lay on the canvas in Kinshasa.
This week on another entirely adequate episode of Spicks and Specks Myf is joined by opera singer Rosario La Spina who tells us about a nasty wardrobe malfunction and comedian Denise Scott who tells us about a nasty medical condition she develops while riding the bike during Malvern Stars on 45. Alan's team features country artist Beccy Cole who recalls the story of touching herself in Iraq and English comedian Stephen K Amos who is one of Spicks and Specks most gracious winners. Also watch out for a guest appearance by the spooky, kooky and ooky Kransky Sisters. Sadly Judith Lucy couldn't join the Spicks & Specks team and had to pull out at the last minute due to illness.
This week on the ABC's only show called 'Spicks and Specks' Alan is joined by one of the stars of 'The Producers' Chloe Dallimore - who explains how to give yourself a black eye while dancing - and Canadian comedian Glenn Wool. Myf's team features dancer and actor David Page - who gets a bit of shock when he sees some footage of himself as a young man from The Paul Hogan Show - and Irish comedian Jason Byrne who gives us an insight into the mind of an elderly Irish woman when he's riding the bike during 'Malvern Stars on 45'. Chloe Dallimore proves she's certainly got and knows how to flaunt it when she closes the show with 'If You've Got It, Flaunt It' from The Producers.
This week on 'Spicks and Specks' we have an extra special show for y'all. Joining us this week not only do we have the stunning Ali McGregor and the uproarious Meshel Laurie but we also have Rick Parfitt and Francis Rossi from Status Quo. That's right, you heard me right, Rick Parfitt and Francis Rossi from Status Quo. They've rocked Live Aid (the first one), they've rocked all over the world (really, all over) and they've rocked their tour bus (don't ask) and now they're set to rock 'Spicks and Specks'. Hold onto your hats and give your Mum a valium. It's going to be a ripper.
Australian music legend Joe Camilleri, English comic legend Ross Noble, Decoder Ring singer Lenka Kripac and another English comedian by the name of Earl Okin.
The Man From Snowy River, Tom Burlinson, sings Bob Dylan in the style of Frank Sinatra. An Australian comedienne wowing them in England, Lulu McClatchy, sings from the 1980s. PNG singing sensation Ngaiire sings in Pidgin. And Hamish Blake doesn't sing at all. Thankfully. All that and more this week on Spicks and Specks.
This week's guests are Channel V host Yumi Stynes, supercool saxophonist Wilbur Wilde, from 70s rock icons Kush, the wonderfully strange Jeff Duff and just a suburban boy, comedian Dave O'Neil. And don't miss the most controversial ending we could think of...
Myf really hits it off with the singer/guitarist from New Zealand hard rockers 'Shihad', Jon Toogood. Jon Toogood really hits it off with his namesake, legendary Australian singer, Jon English. Comedian Fiona O'Loughlin really hits it off with Jon English - and quite frankly, scares him as well. And Frank Woodley hits it off with everyone. Why don't you hit it off with 'Spicks and Specks' this week on ABC TV.
In their ongoing battle for supremacy Alan and Myf are joined by opera singer Tiffany Speight, comedian Colin Lane, singer/songwriter Stephen Cummings and comedian and radio broadcaster Denise Scott. There's all sorts of shenanigans when Denise and Stephen discover they have a very special bond going back many years. Keep watching.

The one-man band with a number one hit on his hands Leo Sayer A little bit country singer Melinda Schneider Pirate-channelling comedian Cal Wilson And the scruffily attractive Dave O'Neil We take a step to the right with some rock opera, the panel goes Latin with Cuban rhythms from Sally Ford and the Pachuco Playboys , and Leo is lent a hand at one of his concerts.
