Yin, a hardworking Shuining Beast, and Gu Jin, the son of the true God whose magic has been sealed, meet by chance and embark on a quest to find Feng Yin's Immortal Essence. Alongside their companions, Hong Yi of the Fox Clan and Yan Shuang of the Eagle Clan, they face numerous challenges to collect the essence. Battling the villain Qing Lin and his followers, they overcome obstacles and, in the end, not only fulfill their mission to restore peace but also find love, friendship, and family.
The birth of the little Fire Phoenix steals the spotlight from Hua Shu. High Lord Dong Hua, who has heard of the matter, delivers the Pagoda of Soul to them to preserve Feng Yin's body. Gu Jin knows that he has sinned. He decides to take responsibility. Gu Jin and Yin set off for Mount Guixu in search of the immortal energy. Mount Guixu is the territory of the former Princess of the Heavenly Clan, Chen Min, who has a grudge against Gu Jin's parents. A scheme unfolds as Yin disguises herself as a bride to get close to the creature while Gu Jin protects her in secret. Yan Shuang and Hong Yi, both skilled in formations, reluctantly partner up to infiltrate the sea serpent's lair and set up an ambush, waiting for the right moment to kill it.
The gang prepares to return the Stone of Lives to the Nether Realm. However, the Stone of Lives turns into a woman and isn't willing to return to the Nether Realm. It turns out that the Stone of Lives has a crush on Ao Ge, the Nether King. She swears that she will matchmake 10,000 couples and become a Divine Matchmaker with the ability to matchmake demi-gods and High Lords so that she can matchmake herself and Ao Ge. The four people find clues of Blood-Consuming Sand in the Energy Protection Arrow fragments. Yan Shuang investigates the roster of the Military Hall, Hong Yi investigates the Wind Hall, and Gu Jin and Yin go to Yi Sea. They find Feng Ming who tries to destroy the evidence. Yu Feng follows Gu Jin and arrives to prove Yin's innocence. Feng Ming hurt his hand during the fight and pins the blame on Yan Si to clear his name.
Hua Shu is mad at Lan Feng after failing to become one of the Five Supreme Masters, yet little does she know that Lan Feng is well aware of what she did.
