Nick Knowles ventures into one of the least hospitable places on earth: Death Valley. Not only is it incredibly hot, it also holds the distinction of being one of the lowest spots on the planet.
In the hottest place on Earth, Nick goes sand buggy driving, and experiences dawn at Zabriskie Point with amazing views of craggy mountains, dunes and salt flats.
Nick travels from golden dunes at the southern tip of Death Valley, through barren salt flats to a well-preserved ghost town, before ending up at Death Valley Junction.
