수지맞은 우리
A healing romance begins between fallen star doctor Jin Su Ji and stubborn newbie doctor Choi U Ri.
Su Ji is a national psychiatrist and a star doctor at Haedeul Hospital who is always busy from morning to night. Besides, her sister, Na Young, is an eating show reporter who dreams of becoming a news anchor. Meanwhile, U Ri gets discharged from the military and heads straight to Haedeul Hospital.
Following a promising Bibi Roll investment briefing, Jang Soo is optimistic about advancing his position in the restaurant industry. Meanwhile, Do Young finds himself at a police station after a rap battle confrontation with his longtime rival. Meanwhile, Su Ji is tasked with hosting the 50th-anniversary celebration of Haedeul Hospital, while U Ri expresses disappointment with her tendency to prioritize other concerns over patients.
U Ri spends his day dealing with the persistent requests of Su Ji's patients and their caretakers. Meanwhile, Su Ji grapples with memories from her childhood that unexpectedly resurface at The Courtyard House. Unaware of Su Ji's inner turmoil, U Ri becomes irritated upon discovering that Su Ji has discarded the sorghum rice cake balls gifted by Sun Young. Meanwhile, Jin Tae's birthday is marked by Ma Ri's indifference, dampening the festivities.
U Ri gets swamped with work because of Su Ji's busy schedule. It only angers him when he sees her posing for a promotional photo shoot. Jang Soo finds it strange he can't get a hold of Mr. Gong, and Na Young asks Su Ji to help her get lessons from a famous announcer. Meanwhile, Hyun Sung returns home after ending his long life in the US.
Ma Ri and Hyun Sung visit the temple to pay their respects to Ma Ri's late father, but Hyun Sung senses there is someone else Ma Ri is mourning. U Ri takes a crushing kick from Su Ji and throws out his back. Meanwhile, Na Young gets invited to dinner with the chief director of the broadcasting station.
Doo Ri faces a financial dilemma when she's unfairly forced to foot the bill for damaged clothes. Ma Ri asserts control over Jin Tae by unilaterally altering 50th-anniversary plans. As Na Young's cheek swells with a fiery red hue, Yoon Ja's frustration escalates beyond harsh words, intensifying the tension with Su Ji.
Doo Ri refuses to let her hard-earned money slip away without actively seeking out the one accountable. She initiates picketing outside the company's entrance. Following a pleasant dinner with his parents, Hyun Sung encounters Su Ji and U Ri seemingly enjoying themselves together at the restaurant. Meanwhile, Sun Young reflects on the tragic accident she experienced 27 years ago.
Na Young is enraged at Su Ji for not keeping her promise to arrange a lesson with Ms. Son. U Ri is troubled by Su Ji’s abrupt change in demeanor ever since he mentioned seeing her cry at the hospital. Jang Soo is anxious as he frets over Mr. Gong disappearing. Meanwhile, the highly anticipated 50th-anniversary celebration at Haedeul Hospital unexpectedly leads to a reunion with Su Ji's former friend.
Jang Soo's Bibi Roll venture turns for the worse, and he faces unforeseen turmoil. Jung Soon and Sun Young worry about A Ra's entrance to school while still in their care. Meanwhile, Na Young can't stand to see Su Ji's success and becomes overly jealous of her.
Hyun Sung and Su Ji say goodbye after their affection reunion. Na Young uses the handkerchief as an excuse and visits U Ri at the hospital. Sun Young gets an urgent call from A Ra's kindergarten that requires her appearance, and Jin Tae forces Hyun Sung to attend a piano recital. Meanwhile, the Haedeul Hospital's Psychiatry Department has a dinner get-together.
Jin Tae suggests a joint interview to Ma Ri, as Jang Soo rushes to resolve the significant problem he's gotten into before Su Ji discovers it, leaving him in a state of panic. The events of last night lead to a tentative reconciliation between Su Ji and U Ri, though it quickly dissipates. Meanwhile, Hyun Sung is troubled by the man who answered Su Ji's phone call for her.
Jin Tae and Ma Ri stumble upon a heap of gimbap left by Hyun Sung and wonder for whom they are intended. Su Ji and Hyun Sung reminisce about their past while on a date. U Ri ends up telling Su Ji about Na Young's persistent inquiries about her the previous night, leaving Su Ji feeling uncomfortable. Meanwhile, Sun Young aims to play matchmaker between Woo Chang and the kindergarten teacher.
Jin Tae ignores Hyun Sung's intentions and pushes for him to meet a girl from a prestigious family. Yoon Ja suspects Jang Soo of having an affair and tails him, while Su Ji sees A Ra's yellow cape and recalls her young past. Meanwhile, Sun Young asks Woo Chang to spend the weekend together.
Yoon Ja can't figure out what is with Jang Soo, but she still treats him like an ATM. Hyun Sung takes Su Ji as a defensive strategy to the piano recital that Jin Tae forced on him. Meanwhile, the Courtyard House family is ecstatic at the news of Woo Chang and Sun Young going on a date and cheer them on.
Woo Chang is taken aback to discover that Sun Young isn't his intended companion, but another person entirely. After a decade of holding on to it, Hyun Sung finally presents Su Ji with a gift. Na Young receives uplifting news as she learns she's made it to the finals of the audition. Do Young learns about the challenges his father has been facing.
Na Young is frustrated because Su Ji always interrupts her moments alone with U Ri. Su Ji is enraged upon discovering that Na Young has rifled through her cherished possessions. Jang Soo and Do Young are engaged in undercover operations to apprehend the fleeing Mr. Gong. Su Ji is taken aback when she encounters Hyun Sung at the hospital, appearing to be someone she didn’t expect him to be.
Su Ji is shocked when she finds out that Hyun Sung is the new director at the hospital. Meanwhile, something about U Ri keeps bothering Hyun Sung, even though U Ri has zero interest in Su Ji. Ma Ri embarrasses Jin Tae at the company meeting while introducing the hospital’s new crucial business. Yoon Ja is suspicious of why Jang Soo and Do Young are always together throughout the day. Na Young bluntly tells U Ri that she likes him.
Su Ji learns she was nominated to host the program Na Young desperately wanted, while Jang Soo deals with the severe aftermath of the fraud. At Handeul Hospital, Ma Ri and Jin Tae get into a heated discussion when their views on managing the hospital collide. Meanwhile, Na Young calls U Ri for solace after discovering her position as the host got lost to someone else.
Jin Tae sees Hyun Sung with Su Ji in front of the hospital, and Ma Ri discovers pictures of Hyun Sung with Su Ji. Yoon Ja tells Bok Sun that she saw someone who resembled Sun Young, while Jang Soo begins to chase down the partner that left him in shambles. Meanwhile, Na Young is shocked when she learns the identity of the person who took her host position.
Su Ji once again reveals a side of herself to U Ri that she had intended to keep hidden. Sun Young tends to Woo Chang, who falls ill due to her words. Hyun Sung becomes envious upon discovering Su Ji and U Ri napping in the same room during their night shift. Meanwhile, Jang Soo successfully locates Mr. Gong, only to encounter an unexpected obstacle.
