グロウアップショウ ～ひまわりのサーカス団～
We're bringing the circus to you!
Step right up to 1950s Japan! The postwar economy is booming, but the Sunflower Circus is not. Led by ringmaster Maria, the cash-strapped troupe tours the country in desperate competition for a spot in the Circus Collection–an elite global festival. When circus prodigy Mizuka Tsurumaki joins their ranks, the Sunflower Circus’s fortune shifts, finally giving them a shot at big top glory.
In 1950s Japan, penniless Mizuka meets two circus girls, sparking a dream-filled new beginning.
The "Sunflower Circus" is headed to Toyokawa, a popular and officially sanctioned performance venue.
Determined to surpass "Shiny Lavender", the "Sunflower Circus" prepares for its upcoming show.
The "Sunflower Circus" had a successful show in Toyokawa, but their earnings were seized by debt collectors.
Akane storms off as Mizuka searches the mountains for Rafflesia Circus’s missing François.
Nanami Sumeragi’s team makes headlines with newspapers asking if they could surpass the "Lotus Circus."
Mizuka, determined to challenge Mitscher, returns to the group members who all look very serious.
With the Sumeragi Group’s elite troupe, the "Blue Rose Circus," nearby, the "Sunflower Circus" faces a predictably poor turnout for its next performance. Mizuka, having resolved to take the stage as a performer, nervously peeks out at the audience. After confiding her anxiety to Ouka in the wings, she trusts Ouka's advice—"look at the audience before you fly"—and Mizuka steps onto the trapeze.
Maria collapses from exhaustion, and Rin fiercely scolds the troupe for causing chaos at the hospital.
The "Sunflower Circus" has been granted permission to participate in the "Circus Collection Japan Tournament."
Mizuka and Ouka are unable to hide their growing anxiety, pushing themselves with excessive training.
With surgery in the United States fast approaching, Maria was placed under a strict no-visitor policy.
The opening day of the final performances has arrived.
