Akira Todo has always lived in the shadow of his sister, Haruka, who secretly wields their father’s mysterious “Engine.” But when a mysterious enemy comes for his family, Akira is forced into a battle that threatens the entire world. He may have inherited none of his father’s power, but now he must find a way to fight back. Or risk losing everything he cares about.
When the global network is disrupted, Haruka must use a power inherited from her father to protect her family.
Just after Akira's hidden power reveals itself, two unfamiliar women appear before him.
Haruka and Akira depart for Hokkaido with Eleanor and Lala to find the fifth Vertex.
On a deserted island, Lala devises a plan to use Akira as bait to lure EDVA to them.
