George Clarke presents a series which proves that even the ugliest houses can with help from some of the country's leading architects be transformed with next to no budget.
Fiona and Hugh hate absolutely everything about their home, except for the garden. They're won over by architect Greg Blee's modernist designs, but local planners aren't. Can they get the go-ahead?
Matt and Kevin's dark and dated, 1930s three-up-three-down stands out from the crowd for all the wrong reasons. Can they turn this badly designed beast into a beauty?
Greg and Helen want to fix their cramped 1930s Sheffield eyesore before their baby arrives. With challenges mounting, can they complete the redesign in time?
George revisits Wendy and Alan in Colchester, whose transformation of their sad 1960s property was halted when they blew their budget. Is it now complete?
George revisits Armin and Amifa, whose budget was sapped by their featureless suburban home's downstairs and an awful extension, leaving the upstairs unfinished. But is it now complete?
George looks back at some of the most radical transformations from the series, including an awful 80s home that was mostly garage, a depressing bungalow and a house with unusual garden access
