Concorde is a two-part documentary telling the story of the supersonic passenger jet.
The designers, pilots and passengers tell the incredible story of how the Anglo-French Concorde saw off competition from the Americans and Soviets to become the world's only supersonic airliner. For more than a quarter of a century and unmatched to this day, Concorde was the undisputed queen of the skies.
By the early 1980s, Concorde was admired the world over. It seemed that it was loved by all, but not by the management of British Airways. They were horrified that it was losing tens of millions a year and knew that something must be done.
