The Block
The Block All Stars premiered on Monday, 4 February 2013 at 7:00 pm on the Nine Network. Both host Scott Cam and "Challenge Master" Shelley Craft returned from the previous season. Production for the series relocated from Melbourne—which had hosted the prior two seasons—to its original location of Bondi in Sydney to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the show's first season.

Four all star couples are given with the toughest renovation challenge they have ever faced. In just six weeks they will have to completely make over four heritage listed homes in one of the suburbs best streets.

The enormity of the challenge ahead starts to sink in as they encounter the strict heritage rules. In the midst of this Scott Cam sends them on a challenge to makeover rooms at the Sydney Children's Hospital.

The teams race to complete their rooms in time for the judges. The winning team will donate $5000 to a charity of their choice and also win a code that will allow them to open one of their neighbours safes at The Block.

In a race against the clock, the teams discover that completing heritage listed rooms is far harder than they ever imagined.

The competition heats up as the All Stars inspect each other's completed first rooms. Beginning work on their second rooms, the teams get busy designing the rest of their house while trying to deal with the heritage restrictions.
Bedroom two is well underway and one of our couples is planning ahead, meeting with a real estate agent and inspecting other Bondi properties.
One team is hit with some devastating family news, while another comes up with a potential game changing plan for the back of their house. Shelley has a creative repurposing challenge for the teams where the prize is valued at over $20,000.
Scott gets one team closer to opening another Suzuki safe. All the teams race to finish their second bedrooms but for one team member, the pressure of being an All Star weighs heavily and becomes all too much.

With only a day before delivery of their second bedrooms, the teams struggle to finish ahead of judging. There's another $5,000 up for grabs but the judges are so impressed with the standard they have trouble choosing a winner.
Bathrooms are next on the All Stars renovation list and all the teams are trying to impress. But some couples face delays as foreman Keith keeps a close eye on construction.
Bathroom week, aka Hell Week, continues. One team is already behind due to a problem with their flooring and all the teams face some time consuming heritage work ahead of them.
Challenge Queen Shelley Craft surprises everyone with a bathroom display challenge and the chance to have their bathroom feature in Belle Magazine.
With only a few days left to finish their bathrooms, the pressure is on. One teams is faced with the huge task of fixing floor levels, while another finds quirky bathroom accessories.
One all-star is struck down with a stomach bug, leaving his teammate in charge of the bathroom build herself. Keith's on the rampage about one team's extra housemate, a four-legged friend.

Careful planning and hard work pay off with the all-stars delivering the best bathrooms this series has ever seen. The judges are surprised by the results, and tensions are high as the scores go down to the wire.
The teams forge ahead with unique plans for the formal lounge, hallway and linen cupboard, aka Ben Hur week. Budgets are tight and all the teams discover they're in desperate need of a win to finish the build out back.
A week this big deserves big prize money and the teams find out just how much they'll win for their formal lounge, hallway and linen cupboards come room reveal.
Scotty presents the teams with two challenges that bring out the artist and the car enthusiast in the all-stars. It's a race to finish three rooms for judging and for one couple, second thoughts on paint colour prove difficult.
