One hundred years after Australia elected its very first female parliamentarian, Annabel Crabb presents Ms Represented, a raw and honest account of politics from the female perspective.
How does the everyday experience and public perception of women in politics differ from that of males? Why do women's personal lives matter more? Our interviewees reflect on the complexities of being a female pollie.
We track the arrival of a new wave of women into Australias Parliament in the 1970s and 80s. Annabel examines the impact women have in politics and more broadly on society, by pushing through ground-breaking legislation.
Annabel looks at the political parties from the mid-90s to now, and what happened when - more than a century after women won the right to run for Parliament in Australia - we finally got a female Prime Minister.
