Linda finds herself on trial for lying to the town about her true identity. But her time in the forest is far from over...
News of Linda’s ledgers spreads across town and the seeds of a domestic revolution are sown. But Linda is reluctant to lead the women’s campaign, and a childhood memory is starting to raise questions.
Linda begins to realise the power her ledgers have unleashed in the town’s women. Meanwhile, with eel numbers dwindling, the Eel Sisters reluctantly agree to trial Linda’s idea: vegan mushroom eels.
While the men and women of the town are more divided than ever, Linda’s past comes back to haunt her - and reveals her true identity.
The Eel Sisters invite Linda to their annual 'Silent Supper', which is the final straw for The Verderer and his men, who declare war...
The strike is over and there’s a sense of new beginnings for everyone… even the Mother Tree.
