Grip - A Toyota Story
In Season 1 of GRIP, rebellious racers challenge SynthCorp's dominance in high-stake races, with the future of real driving hanging in the balance.
We are introduced to our hero and his heroic ride - Jae Kang and his GR Corolla. Together, they drive through the emotionless, joyless, boring streets - until…
Jae and Linh test each other on the way to a car enthusiast’s dream—the GR Garage.
Jae visits GRIP’s secret garage, where GRs are born. Linh introduces him to Kumail, meets a Master, and has an unexpected connection.
We flashback in time: Master Rugu, Jae’s Father, and Dr Synth, all used to race together. But while Rugu and Jae’s father loved driving for the thrill, Synth only cared about winning.
In the season finale, Jae battles a menacing StandardSynth, the team comes to Jae’s aid, and a taste of things to come.
