A panic attack on stage compels comedian Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll to confront his stress once and for all. From talk therapy to cold plunging and sound bathing, he’s on a quest to chill out and find more balance between work and life.
A fight between Rodrigo and his long-time partner, Gwynne, puts their relationship in the hot seat. To get back on track, they dive into couples therapy, Thai massage, emotional intimacy exercises, and even sit down with a TV debate moderator.
Rodrigo is forced to confront his financial stress after a dinner with money-savvy friends. With the help of exposure therapy, an economics crash course, and a side hustle, Rodrigo finally tackles what he’s long-avoided: financial planning.
A humiliating audition leaves Rodrigo feeling old and stressed about his age, so he dives into biohacking and the latest in longevity science to try and turn back the clock.
After posting a parody video with his partner Gwynne, Rodrigo is left shocked by the backlash from misogynistic trolls. He wants to know what’s fueling this appalling behaviour, and finds himself questioning how he fits into all of this as a man. His search takes him from leading researchers examining the manosphere, to conversations with men who model healthier approaches to masculinity.
Rodrigo loses a job to AI and is spiraling. Is this it? Will he ever work again? What if his profession becomes obsolete? To get a primer on the current state of AI, he meets Futurist & AI educator Sínead Bovell. She relates AI to the introduction of other general-purpose world-changing technologies like electricity, and encourages Rodrigo to learn more about it in order to feel empowered.
