Theater Mode
Move over Mary Shelley, there's a new Frankenstein in town! Follow a group of teens that break into a wax museum to act out their sexual frustration only to find an legion of zombies. Also that Eastern European guy with the funny mustache might show up. What's his name?...Oh, Adam Kovic!
Remember that one blonde lady from Episode 3 of Theater Mode? Me neither, but she's in this episode too. There's a lot of creepy/kinky/murdery doll stuff, but it's essesntially a girl-next door movie, with a dash of Fifty Shades of Grey, and a hint of stabby knife play.
FISH!! Welcome to the 2018 Achievement Hunter Theater Mode Finishing Jamboree! Try putting that on a shirt. Seriously, try putting on a shirt. We need more merch ideas. Someone thought, you know what story hasn't been told in a while- The Most Dangerous Game. And then added fishing.
After Saint Blevin, drove the Polish children into the sea. St. Blevin's Day was erected in his honor. And the town rejoiced. However this town was known as Fear Town, and even worse, it was located in New Jersey. And in Fear Town, New Jersey, USA, strange things occur. Things like... Anorexic Ghosts, Real-life PUBG, strange long text acronyms, and the Devil himself- who writes for Jimmy Fallon.
A movie is defined as a story or event recorded by a camera as a set of moving images. This my friends is NOT what will be watching today. Today you will be watching Pot Zombies: A series of occurrences that can only be summarized as what a Jeff Sessions wet dream might look like. So join us with Vape Master, Lawrence Sonntag as we chase the dragon. Let’s fall off the wagon to shake hands with the Devil. We’ll ride the wave and trip the technicolor dreamscape. Far Out Man!
The AH Crew Watch A Nymphoid Barbarian In Dinosaur Hell
Our good buddy Lawrence dropped off a movie while he vaped his way through Pot Zombies. Prepare yourself for a movie with so much b-roll you’d think it was sponsored by Shutterstock. Seriously it happens so much, we made it a drinking rule. Follow a group of thirty-sev…I mean eighteen year olds as they fumble their way into a Nazi plan that involves combining Frankenstein and Hitler- yeah they really jumped the sharknado on this one.
Our good friend Rahul made a mistake. He decided he wanted to try out Theater Mode. Join the crew as they sit through a movie full of romance, daring, and action! Gang members, nuclear monsters, and wet (and dry) farts! It's Class Of Nuke 'Em High!
Bug! It's Matt Bragg's first Theater Mode so be sure to welcome him. After that, immediately scold him for wearing a green shirt on the show. I swear it’s amateur hour in here. Anyway, we got to kill all these monster bugs, because they got super smart from a chemical mix-up (whoops). But this time, the monsters can use guns, so someone really f-ed up.
In the world of Dragon Fury, there are 3 Rules.Rule #1: Dragon Fury is absolutely not a ripoff of Terminator 2. Rule #2: If you’re going to have a sword fight, you have to be shirtless. Rule #3: Time Travel = Getting Laid. It’s science. Only fools argue with science.
Join us for our test episode of Theater Mode AUX: where we bring the commentary and you bring the movie. You can find Deep Blue Sea on Netflix, and it is also easily rentable on iTunes, Google Play, YouTube or Amazon Prime.
This was filmed in front of a live audience on April 19th, 2018. Join us for our first taped episode of Theater Mode Live at the Alamo Drafthouse. The creators of La La Land saw Birdemic and thought they could totally rip it off. Then they saw the stellar production value of the bird attacks and decided to just stick to a story about how to make it in Hollywood story. Probably a safe bet.
