Carrie & Barry
Everyone thinks Barry is a sadistic wife batterer when Carrie accidentally gives herself a black eye. He's forced into finding out whether his daughter's new boyfriend is only after sex.
Barry is hoping his French neighbour's sophistication will rub off on him, while Carrie experiments with using sex as an aid to sleep.
Barry agonises over whether to have a vasectomy, but more of a dilemma is how to deal with best mate Kirk when he makes a pass at Carrie.
Barry is caught wearing his wife's clothes - only marginally less embarrassing than being made to dress up as a fireman to fulfil one of her secret sexual fantasies.
Carrie goes into PC overdrive whilst interviewing a prospective tenant, and Barry's fed up with driving a taxi and decides to try his hand at massage.
Carrie and Barry realise their sex life has gone ominously quiet so Carrie attempts a bit of vicarious romance by setting up Kirk and acid-tongued Michelle on a date.
